Ko Jung-min (고정민) is a South Korean actress.

Herardo Contreras, sometimes under the name Gerardo Contreras or Kontreras (Russian: Херардо Контрерас), was born on April 16, 1940 in Mozhaysk. His Basque parents fled the Franco regime to the Soviet Union; his father was a pilot in the Spanish Civil War, his mother a teacher. In 1967, Ivan Karpovich graduated from the Karpenko-Karõi National Theater, Cinema and Television Institute in Kyiv. Until his death, he was an actor at the Estonian SSR State Russian Drama Theater (Russian Theater), performing more than 120 different roles there. In addition to his theatrical work, Herardo Contreras performed with long acting programs and participated in feature films. Contreras died on March 1, 2009 in Tallinn.

Geoffrey Oryema (16 April 1953 – 22 June 2018) was a Ugandan musician. In 1977 after the murder of his father, Erinayo Wilson Oryema, who was a cabinet minister in the government of Idi Amin, he began his life in exile. At the age of 24, and at the height of Amin's power, Oryema was smuggled out of the country in the trunk of a car. He sang in the languages of his youth, Swahili and Acholi, the languages of his lost country, the "clear green land" of Uganda, and he also sang in English and French. Oryema earned his international reputation on the release of his second album, Beat the Border. He had collaborated with Peter Gabriel, Brian Eno and others, and was backed by French musicians including Jean-Pierre Alarcen (guitar) and Patrick Buchmann (drums, percussion, backing vocals), touring with WOMAD in Australia, the USA, Japan, Brazil and Europe. In 1994 the band performed at Woodstock 94 celebrating the 25th anniversary of the legendary festival. Gabriel's record label, Real World, helped with the first three of Oryema's albums, before his move to Sony International, a label established in France, where Oryema had lived since his exile. In July 2005, he performed at the LIVE 8: Africa Calling concert in Cornwall, and with 1 Giant Leap at the Live 8 Edinburgh concert. He resided in Paris, France, until his death. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia In the 1910s, Lange was active as a songwriter, collaborating frequently with lyricist Andrew B. Sterling and publishing with the Joe Morris Music Company. During the first half of the 1920s Lange recorded abundantly for Cameo Records. His 1923 orchestra, which also played the Cinderella Ballroom on Broadway and which included "hot" trumpeters Earl Oliver and Tommy Gott, was at the end of that year bought by young well-to-do bandleader Roger Wolfe Kahn, and it is not known whether the recordings Lange made after this point and up to 1926 were still made by these musicians (Kahn himself did not start recording under his own name for Victor Records until March 1925) or by another group. His 1928 recordings for Pathé Records were, however, almost certainly made by other unknown personnel. Though Lange himself played both piano and banjo he seems (with the exception of a recording by his "Lange trio" in 1922) to have acted only as conductor and arranger on his band recording dates. Census records show that Lange shared a residence in the Hollywood Hills in 1930 with Ray Heindorf, who would go on to win three Academy Awards. Lange was a prolific arranger of dance band orchestrations during the 1920s. His "stock" orchestrations were in use by many bands of the day. Lange wrote "Arranging for the Modern Dance Orchestra" which was the definitive work of its day (published Robbins Music, 1926).

Mathias Malzieu (born 1974) is the lead singer of the French band Dionysos, which he co-founded in 1993 when he lived in Valence in Drôme (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes). Three of his schoolfriends, Eric Serra Tosio, Michael Ponton and Guillaume Garidel, were among the band's original members. Malzieu has written the following books: 38 mini westerns avec des fantômes (2002); Maintenant qu'il fait tout le temps nuit sur toi (2005); La mécanique du cœur (2007), English translation titled The Boy with the Cuckoo-Clock Heart released in September 2009; Métamorphose en bord de ciel (2011); Le Plus Petit Baiser Jamais Recensé (2013); Journal d'un vampire en pyjama (2016), English translation titled Diary of a Vampire in Pyjamas released in May 2017; Une sirène à Paris; Le dérèglement joyeux de la métrique amoureuse.
