His first full-length movie, FUBAR was shot on a digital camera with a tiny budget, but was selected by the Sundance Film Festival and screened on the prestigious midnight slot, which had launched the revolutionary film The Blair Witch Project. Though it failed to get picked up by any major American theatrical distributors, FUBAR subsequently became a cult hit in Canada. Following the success of FUBAR, Dowse went on to direct the higher-budget British film "It's All Gone Pete Tong", the story of a deaf DJ in Ibiza. Dowse's next production, the 1980s retro comedy Take Me Home Tonight, started shooting in Phoenix, Arizona on the week beginning 19 February 2007 and is scheduled to be released in 2011. Victoria Natalie Yeates (born 19 April 1983) is an English actress. She is best known for her role as Sister Winifred in the period drama series Call the Midwife. She also appeared in the film Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald and its sequel Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore. Yeates was born and raised in Bournemouth, Dorset and practised ballet dancing as a child. In 2006, she earned a degree in acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). She began her career on the stage, earning critical praise for her roles in Noël Coward's Private Lives, in the Rookery Nook and in Michael McClure's The Beard. In 2017, she began touring in a production of Arthur Miller's The Crucible. In 2014, she joined the cast of the BBC period drama Call the Midwife as Sister Winifred, a midwife who moves to Poplar, London in the late 1950s to work at Nonnatus House. William Klein (April 19, 1926 – September 10, 2022) was a photographer and filmmaker noted to for his ironic approach to both media and his extensive use of unusual photographic techniques in the context of photojournalism and fashion photography. Trained as a painter, Klein studied under Fernand Léger and found early success with exhibitions of his work. However, he soon moved on to photography and achieved widespread fame as a fashion photographer for Vogue and for his photo essays on various cities. Despite having no training as a photographer, Klein won the Prix Nadar in 1957 for New York, a book of photographs taken during a brief return to his hometown in 1954. Klein's work was considered revolutionary for its "ambivalent and ironic approach to the world of fashion", its "uncompromising rejection of the then prevailing rules of photography" and for his extensive use of wide-angle and telephoto lenses, natural lighting and motion blur. Klein tends to be cited in photography books along with Robert Frank as among the fathers of street photography, one of those mixed compliments that classifies a man who is hard to classify. The world of fashion would become the subject for Klein's first feature film, Who Are You, Polly Maggoo?, which, like his other two fiction features, Mr. Freedom and Le Couple Témoin, is a satire. Klein directed numerous short and feature-length documentaries and produced over 250 television commercials. Though American by birth, Klein lived and worked in France since his late teens. Napakpapha Nakprasitte (better known as Mamee, born April 19, 1981) is a Thai film actress. She is sometimes credited as Napakapa Nakprasit. Mamee's first film role was as the star of the 2001 horror film, Mae bia (Snake Lady), in which she portrayed a woman who has a symbiotic relationship with a cobra. She then starred in Butterfly Man, an Anglo-Thai production directed by Kaprice Kea. She portrayed a traditional Thai massuese who becomes the love object for a young British backpacker, portrayed by Stuart Laing. It was her first English-speaking role. In 2005, Mamee starred in Art of the Devil 2, a thriller in which she portrayed a teacher at a rural school who has a cruel prank played on her by some students. She then gets her revenge by learning black magic and using it on her former students. For her role in Art of the Devil 2, she was nominated for best actress by the Bangkok Critics Assembly. She was also nominated for best supporting actress for the Thailand National Film Awards, but asked that the nomination be withdrawn out of protest. Mamee was featured in an experimental Thai film titled Ma-Mee (Three Friends), a partly fictional docu-drama in which she and two of her bikini-clad girlfriends (Jitraporn Panit and Penporn Poonsaem) go to an island for a video shoot, with the camera following their activities both on the set and off. She was listed among the cast for the 2006 Canadian horror-comedy, First Bite, by Malaysian-Canadian director Hunt Hoe. She starred in Art of the Devil 3 in 2008.
