Cognata attended the Boston Arts Academy (2006) where he majored in theatre. In 2008, Cognata made his television debut in a national commercial for Subway and performed with the poetic entertainment group called ARTiculation. The Boston Herald writes in a 2009 article, "Give the creativity and enthusiasm of this highly talented group of young poets a chance. Their performance is good enough to make even a cynic believe in the power of art." Cognata then moved to New York City and Los Angeles to obtain television roles including Julian Robbins, brother-in-law to battalion chief Wallace Boden on NBC's Chicago Fire (2018), and recurring as Tito, Lip's intern on Showtime's Shameless (2016). He appeared in Hallmark's Romance at Reindeer Lodge (2017). In addition to his work in film and TV, Cognata represented his hometown in the Edinburgh Festival Fringe (2006), where he performed the play A More Perfect Union.

His journey started way back when he was just a kid. Greg Maluma was born and raised in Lusaka, the capital city of Zambia. He started his primary school at Mwalumina primary school and later went to Chongwe secondary school where he completed his secondary education. In 2019 Maluma applied at Natural resources development college to study Agricultural Engineering and was granted admission for 2020 intake. Greg Maluma took advantage of his martial arts skill set to venture into movie stunts and film music writing, Maluma holds a 3rd degree black belt in karate and in kickboxing 2021. Greg maluma is playing a role as a co-staring in a Zambian movie set to be released in 2023, both his skills and film music has been acknowledged.

She went on to work in several other television shows, like Saravanan Meenatchi (2011), where she had a guest appearance. From 2019 to 2020, Narayanan worked in the Tamil soap opera Rettai Roja (2019) on Zee Tamil as Anuradha. She also appeared as a guest on the Zee Tamil Kudumbam Viruthugal Prelude in 2019. In 2020, she participated in the fourth season of the reality show Bigg Boss Tamil (2017) and was evicted on day 98. In 2021, she appeared in the fourth season of Bigg Boss Kondattam as a guest and in the first season of BB Jodigal as a contestant. In 2019, she bagged the Most Promising Actress category at Zee Kudumba Virudhugal.
