Seis años de inactividad le hacen regresar al cine estadounidense de la mano de Alan J. Pakula, y de nuevo a España, concretamente con 'Un par de zapatos del 32' (Rafael Romero Marchent, 1973), protagonizada por Ray Milland. El terror y la comedia fueron los géneros predominantes en su filmografía, apareciendo también en algunas de nuestras series de televisión más exitosas.
