In 2020, Griniūtė earned an MA in Directing Fiction from Goldsmiths, University of London, where she created Rice & Bread, showcased at the London Short Film Festival and POFF Shorts. Her debut feature, Independent Child, was developed at the Torino Film Lab and Mediterranean Film Lab and is set for production in 2025.
