António Costa Valente holds a PhD in Communication Sciences and Technologies from the University of Aveiro. He was a visiting professor at the public universities of Aveiro and Vila Real and director of the Theater and Cinema Department at ESAP – Escola Superior Artística do Porto. He directs the AVANCA Film Festival since 1997, the scientific conference AVANCA|CINEMA since 2010 and coordinates the “Prémio Eng.º. Fernando Gonçalves Lavrador ”, awarded annually to the best academic research on cinema. He is coordinator of Europe in the “International Federation of Film Societies” and national coordinator of “INPUT-TV”, an international conference that annually brings together public televisions from around the world. He is co-editor of the “International Journal of Cinema”. He has produced and directed films that have been distinguished with more than three hundred awards at festivals on all continents. Among them, he produced and co-directed the first feature film of Portuguese animation cinema. He is the author of several books, book chapters and other scientific publications. It has several doctoral and master’s thesis orientations completed. He is a reviewer of several national and international scientific conferences and journals. Mauricio began his filmmaking journey with "De allá lo aprendí" (2015), an introspective short film about his grandfather's youth. He later had significant success with the comedy "Todo por Olivia" (2019), which won numerous awards at his school's film competition, demonstrating his skill in blending humor with serious storytelling. His most recent production, "Reflejos del Tiempo" (2025), participated at the Festival de Cortometrajes de Multicine, showcasing his evolving artistry, especially in scriptwriting.

Pasquale Bruno (born 19 June 1962) is an Italian football commentator and former professional footballer who played as a defender. He is remembered for being one of the toughest players in the history of Italian football. Throughout his career, he made a name for himself as an aggressive, physical, and hard-tackling player, with a tendency to commit fouls and pick up cards, often attracting criticism and controversy, and earning the nickname "O' animale" (Neapolitan: the animal), due to his tenacious style of play; in total, he received an Italian record of over fifty days of suspension throughout his career. Bruno played for several Italian clubs throughout his career, in particular Juventus, where he won a Coppa Italia-UEFA Cup double in 1990, and subsequently for the club's inter-city rivals Torino, where he won another Coppa Italia in 1993; he also had stints with Lecce, Como and Fiorentina. Following his time in Italy, he ended his career after spells in Scotland and England with Heart of Midlothian, Wigan Athletic, and Cowdenbeath.
