Día cero (2025)

(CASTELLANO) Día Cero es una serie que juega con las conspiraciones y el drama político, con un planteamiento que puede recordar a los clásicos del género. Tiene una producción impecable y un reparto de lujo, con Robert De Niro como gran reclamo. Verle en televisión es un acontecimiento en sí mismo, y su interpretación no decepciona. Su personaje tiene peso y presencia, aunque el guion no siempre le saca todo el partido que podría.
El arranque es correcto, pero no termina de enganchar. La historia tarda en arrancar y algunos episodios intermedios se sienten un poco estirados. Sin embargo, cuando la trama empieza a apretar, la serie gana enteros. Los dos últimos episodios son los más intensos y consiguen hacer que todo el viaje haya valido la pena.
Visualmente, la serie está muy bien cuidada, con una ambientación convincente y una dirección que sabe manejar la tensión. El problema es que a veces se pierde en diálogos que intentan sonar más profundos de lo que realmente son, y hay tramas secundarias que no llegan a ningún sitio. Aun así, como thriller político cumple y tiene momentos realmente logrados.
No es la mejor serie del año, pero sí un buen entretenimiento, especialmente para quienes disfrutan de las conspiraciones bien hiladas y las historias de poder en la sombra. Un arranque lento, un desarrollo algo irregular, pero un desenlace que deja satisfecho.

The downside is that it sometimes gets lost in dialogues that try to sound deeper than they actually are, and some subplots lead nowhere.
