El Rey Arturo: La Leyenda de la Espada (2017)

Ya no me vale solo con unos buenos efectos especiales y un aire de grandiosidad en la fotografía. Eso lo tiene este filme, pero nada mas. La historia muy mediocre, además de sabida y requetesabida, lo que la hace menos todavía que muy mediocre. El ritmo frenético no es necesario. Los flashback temporales mal llevados. Y aún así, la suspendo por poco ... esa es mi debilidad, me entretuve.

The latest retelling of the legendary tale of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, is a Guy Ritchie film through and through. With Ritchie's signature humor and fast-paced dialogue present throughout, the film reimagines the classic story with a modern twist, depicting Arthur as a streetwise fighter and the good guys as underdogs. However, the film suffers from a lack of identity and an overreliance on CGI, resulting in a disjointed and numbing experience. The cast, led by Charlie Hunnam and Jude Law, give decent performances but fail to fully connect as hero and villain. Despite some enjoyable moments and a fun performance from Law, the film ultimately falls short of its potential.
